Website Design

Websites & Development

How long does a website project take?

Most standard business websites (5–12 pages) take 4–6 weeks from kick-off to launch. Larger or more complex projects (20+ pages, custom functionality, e-commerce) typically take 8–12 weeks. The timeline depends on how quickly we receive content (text, images, logo) from you and how many revision rounds are needed. We provide a clear timeline at the start of every project.

Do I need to provide the content, or do you write it?

We can work both ways. If you already have your text and images, we will integrate them into the design. If you need help with copywriting, we offer content creation as an add-on. Many clients prefer to provide initial copy and we refine and optimise it for clarity and SEO.

Will my website work on mobile devices?

Yes. All websites we build are fully responsive and mobile-optimised. We design mobile-first, meaning the phone experience is prioritised, then expanded for tablet and desktop. We test across multiple devices and screen sizes before launch.

Do you build on WordPress?

Our primary platform is WordPress, which powers over 43% of all websites globally. It is flexible, widely supported, and gives you full ownership and control of your site. You can update content yourself without needing a developer for routine changes.

Can you redesign my existing website instead of starting from scratch?

Absolutely. Many projects are redesigns of existing sites, not new builds. We review your current site, migrate your existing content, and rebuild with a modern design. If your site is already on WordPress, the process is especially streamlined.

Will you include SEO in the website build?

Yes. Basic on-page SEO is included in all website builds: page titles, meta descriptions, H-tag structure, image alt text, XML sitemap, and Rank Math configuration. Advanced SEO strategy (ongoing keyword targeting, link building, content strategy) is a separate service.

Can you add e-commerce to my website?

Yes. We build WooCommerce stores as part of our Professional and Enterprise website packages. E-commerce capability can also be added to an existing WordPress site. We will discuss your specific requirements (payment gateways, shipping, product catalogue) in the discovery call.

What happens after the website launches?

All packages include post-launch support: 1 month on Starter, 3 months on Professional, and 6–12 months on Enterprise. After that, we offer ongoing maintenance and support packages, or you can manage the site independently.

Do I own my website?

Yes, completely. Unlike Wix or Squarespace, with a WordPress site you own every file, every piece of content, and the domain name. If you ever want to move hosts or work with a different developer, everything is portable.

How much input do I have in the design?

Significant input. Before we design anything, we gather your preferences, review your competitors, and discuss your goals. You review and approve designs before we build. We typically present 2–3 design directions for the homepage, then refine based on your feedback before proceeding to internal pages.

Hosting

Hosting & Domains

What’s included in all hosting plans?

All plans include 50GB NVMe SSD storage, unlimited bandwidth, a free SSL certificate, free domain registration or transfer, free site migration, and cPanel access. Our servers are based on high-specification hardware and use LVE isolation for security.

Is there a setup fee?

No. The monthly price listed is the price you pay. No hidden setup fees, no activation charges.

Is SSL really included for free?

Yes. Every hosting plan includes a free Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate, automatically installed and renewed. This gives you the padlock icon and https prefix on your website address.

Do you provide backups?

Automated daily backups are included with our Gold hosting plan. Bronze and Silver plan customers are encouraged to use UpdraftPlus (a free WordPress plugin) for regular backups, or we can add backup management as an add-on service.

What happens if my website gets hacked?

We take security seriously at the server level: firewall, malware scanning, and LVE isolation reduce the risk significantly. If an issue does occur, we work with you to identify and resolve it. Gold plan customers receive priority security response.

Can I host multiple websites on one plan?

Each plan includes 15 cPanel accounts, meaning you can host up to 15 separate websites under one account. This makes our plans excellent value for businesses with multiple sites, or for web agencies managing multiple client sites.

What is NVMe SSD storage and why does it matter?

NVMe (Non-Volatile Memory Express) SSDs are the fastest type of storage drive available. Compared to traditional HDDs or even standard SSDs, NVMe drives deliver significantly faster read and write speeds, which translates directly to faster website loading times.

Can I upgrade my plan later?

Yes, at any time. Moving from Bronze to Silver or Silver to Gold is straightforward, and we handle the upgrade with no downtime.

What is cPanel?

cPanel is the industry-standard hosting control panel. It gives you a user-friendly interface to manage your website files, email accounts, databases, and more. Most hosting tutorials and WordPress guides reference cPanel, so it is widely familiar.

Do you offer email hosting?

Yes. Email hosting is included via cPanel. You can create professional email addresses using your domain name (for example, info@yourbusiness.pt). Email quotas and the number of accounts you can create depend on your plan.

Where are your servers located?

Our hosting infrastructure is designed to serve the Portuguese market with low latency. We also offer compliance with local data protection requirements. Contact us for specific server location details.

Is there a minimum contract term?

No long-term contracts required. Hosting is billed monthly with no lock-in. You can cancel at any time, though we would obviously prefer to keep you happy enough not to.

Graphic Design

Branding & Design

What’s included in a logo design project?

Our Logo & Identity package includes 3 initial logo concepts, up to 3 revision rounds, and final files delivered in PNG (transparent background), JPEG, SVG, PDF, and EPS formats. You also receive a simple colour palette definition and font pairing. The full brand identity package includes a complete guidelines document and additional collateral.

How many revisions are included?

Our standard packages include up to 3 rounds of revisions. In our experience, most projects reach a result you love within 2 rounds. If more revisions are needed, we discuss and agree on how to proceed, and we are not clock-watchers.

What file formats will I receive?

Final designs are delivered in all standard formats for print and digital use: PNG (transparent background), JPEG, SVG (scalable vector), PDF, EPS, and AI (Adobe Illustrator source file). You receive everything you need for web, social media, print, and signage.

Do you design print materials (brochures, flyers, business cards)?

Yes. Print-ready design is part of our service. We deliver files formatted to your printer’s specifications (bleed, crop marks, CMYK colour mode) so you can print directly without needing to do any additional preparation.

Can you design my social media graphics?

Yes, this is included in our Complete Branding package and above. We create profile picture, cover image, and post templates for the platforms relevant to your business, typically LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.

I already have a logo. Can you create the rest of the brand around it?

Yes. If you are happy with your existing logo and do not want to change it, we can build a complete colour palette, typography system, and brand guidelines document around it to ensure consistency going forward.

Who owns the final designs?

You do, fully, once the project is paid in full. You receive the native source files (Illustrator, InDesign) along with all export formats, and you can work with any designer or printer in the future without restrictions.

How do you deliver the files?

Final files are delivered via a shared folder link (Google Drive or similar). For large print projects, we can also supply files via WeTransfer or a USB drive.

Do you work in Portuguese and English?

Yes. Our team is fully bilingual. We work with clients in both languages and can produce bilingual brand materials if needed.

Can I see examples of your previous brand work?

Yes. Visit our portfolio page to see examples of branding and logo work. You can also contact us and we will send additional examples relevant to your industry.
